It’s been raining throughout the day, keeping the mountainous region at bay 

I sit next to the fire-place, writing a page long play

My thoughts marvel and question; with the coffee on a cup of clay

Darkness all around, the sun has gone taking away the ray!!

 

 

The pitter patter sound is so smoothing

And the flowers are so happy with their blooming

The wait is now over for the heavy pour

As the trees would get their drink and more!!

 

 

Hoping it stays for a day or four

Just so perfect if you have no other chore

Lying with that bestseller in your hand

Or with that magazine you picked from the stand!!

 

 

The rainbows around the corner,

Bringing different colors on the horizon banner

And the stars making various constellations

Makes everyone’s mind   go on notation   !!

 

 

Finally the season of elation and bliss is here

And the birds love it with no fear

With the early sunshine and sky so clear

Welcoming Spring with a bucket full of Beer ::)
