There are so many situations and incidents that we keep repeating time and again even if we know it does not make sense, still we do it on an everyday basis. There would be loads to write in but let me just post in a few.

1. We for sure know that we will not be able to give up on the addiction for sitcoms once we start with it. Hours go by and one episode after the other and we are hooked on to our laptops like there is no other day. The Reel life is taking over our Real life.

2. If you are on the habit of getting up in the night, the first thing that you look for is your mobile phone, and the next would be switching on the Wi-Fi, and checking all the social networking sites one after the other. You just don’t realize you lose half an hour easily. You got to disconnect to connect.

3. Taking our loved ones for granted, even if we know that they would be the only ones by our side when you need them. There are many who come in our lives and go away, but only a few stay there forever. We forget to remind them how special they are.

4. We have forgotten how blessed we have been with a healthy body. We value it more once it does not function well. We surely wish we could rewind the time but it can never happen.

5. Stop cribbing about the place that you are in, the times that you have to go through, take it real easy and live each day as your last.

Change is hard~

Each action has an equal and opposite reaction,

It makes a person firm, rough and strong,

There are good parts and the some real worse,

Like two parts of a coin when tossed and turned.

You got to believe and accept the situation,

Not wait for the time to pass by and get on motion,

The more you think about it and whine,

You miss the bright and pocket full of sunshine.

It is always easier said than done,

It definitely leaves you with a stung,

As time passes by, the wound is healed,

The fond memories need to be buried.

FLAVORS OF RAJASTHAN:*

The sand dunes, the barren land, line of camels and the green bushes at a stretch, that’s not what the place of desserts is all about. The lifestyle of the people is totally different than what we imagine it to be. The villages have turned to mini towns and the place has developed as any other with all the necessary facilities. Each part of Rajasthan is different and there are varied types of people.

This trip of mine left me amazed when I could see the stars so clear and the sky was full of them. One of my best days was when there was a spot light coming in the sky because of one of the events happening around town and it felt as the stars were dancing with the lights on them. The view was spectacular and one of the most romantic ones. I am surely experiencing camping under the moonlight and with stars all around. The sunset were the most striking, was it away from the crowd, was it lesser pollution but we could see the sky turn orange and then a tone of pink as it became a ball of red.

The people staying in the area live like a family and are selfless as they have the feeling of being together each time, the bond being so strong. The roads are narrow and each lane looks the same. I am sure a newbie will lose their way for a week and finally figure out the ways. The palaces are magnificent and so huge. It took us half a day to explore the place that we were staying at. There were smaller rooms in every room and one of them had the fourth room, one inside the other. It was really cool and one of the best places for the kids to play hide and seek. The architecture was really old and the designs and carvings around the place made it more beautiful. We were lucky to get the antique pieces which are kept as a memoir and I am sure those are from the times untold.

Little pleasures in life:*

Everyone goes through thick and thin, highs and low, unexpected situations and the best of times are always there with the best of people. How low you are, or how tired you get, there are always these amazing things that can cheer you up. At times we just forget the small things that make life all the more beautiful and each time we need to remind ourselves of it. So here it goes, if you have missed out on any on the list; make sure that you check them off soon.

1. Early sunrise on a clear day or could be the sunset too, just standing at the place that you are and observing the sun setting, the change in the color of the sky in a few minutes. TOTALLY BREATH TAKING.

2. The fleet of clouds which can be seen till the horizon. You wish these were cotton candies and you could pick them up.

3. A star being seen with a half moon. THE BEST COMBINATION EVER.

4. Playing the music out loud with the speakers on the highest volume and singing along with the wrong lyrics.

5. Imagining your life as a movie and you being the lead actor and trying to figure out how the movie is going to go forward and you are your own script-writer.

6. Telling those loved ones how much you love them and thankful that they came to your lives.

7. Reading a book and not knowing how the clock struck 2 and the next time you see its 8 already.

8. Get over your craving that you have wanted to eat since days. Today is the day.

9. Go out shopping. Pamper yourself, do what makes you happy.

10. Give in a smile to a stranger you are never going to meet.

11. Call that friend you haven’t spoken since a long time, and check on how they are doing or surprise him or her with a visit to their place.

12.Go back that memory lane and think about the awesome things that have happened in your life, and what you are gifted with.

13. The feeling of sand between your toes, swimming in water all day long, loving the mountains and hills around.

14. Make sure you make a bucket list and don’t wait for a time to come when you start checking off the list.

YOU DON’T ALWAYS NEED A PLAN. SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED TO BREATHE, TRUST, LET GO, AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

Winter Blues~

It’s an amazing smoggy morning as I look outside my window. It seems that the whole town is welcoming the day and is ready for some more sunshine. Residents are on the regular jogging spree, children are going to school, the vendors are selling newspapers, and the milkman is wearing his muffler tightly and doing his job. On the other side I am still contemplating on starting up a brand new day or getting back to my warm blanket and to that wonderful dream that got broken because of the alarm, not sure if the same story can still be linked but anyhow, the few moments of cozy warmness wins my mind.

Winter days are really tricky, the day ends before we could really start with. There are some who love this season as they can pile as much clothes on their body, and the excess fat is nowhere to be seen, works for most of us. We also have the lazier bunch for whom reaching to the workplace at 10’o clock is a big trouble. The morning and evenings gets so chilly that you definitely need two extra pairs of warmers while you are riding. There are those fun times when you are basking in the sun reading your favorite novel and eating oranges or the best cup of coffee with the movie that was on your list for so long. Also, the sky is clear, the clouds seem like cotton and you can get creative and keep making objects. These are the small pleasures in life.

P.S:: For the ones who don’t like this season, we can only wish this period goes faster as the days are going by, and who love it we hope there is some snow. I still remember in one of my trips, we could not see anything a few meters ahead and it felt like we are riding on the clouds. It was somewhere as shown in the picture.

YOU GOTTA BE A HERO:

The news of the car accident of famous star PAUL WALKER was shocking to each one of us. Some of us woke up to this news broadcast, and some of us were praying it to be a hoax and as the day passed by, the others got to know through the statuses and tweets on the social networking site and it was confirmed.

The fans surely cannot believe that the blue eyed angel is no more; it is quite strange how unpredictable life can get. He was a passenger in his friend’s car where in both of them died. There are quite a few of messages on social networking site giving in condolence to the celebrity. Some are talking about people forgetting about the person who was driving the car.

To think about it there are so many people who lose their lives in accidents each day, and the world was mourning the demise of the star because they could relate to him. He had definitely made a mark of himself that he is being remembered by all and he deserves it. We can spend each day happily and get to that place and be known and remembered when we are gone. It’s our choice that we make.

NEPAL VOTES::*

So the big day is here, the day where the constitution is finally being made, Nepalese Constituent Assembly election, 2013 on 19^th November. All the citizens of the country who are waiting for this day and for a stable government and situation as it’s been quite long we have been living without a permanent assembly.

There are quite a few of us who got up early in the morning, stood in the line for hours and did exercise our rights. It is so amusing to see some people who have no idea about the political parties but yet have to vote because it is their first time that they were doing so, getting inked on finger. They have no idea on what each principle of the party is, who all are standing for the election but they sure are flaunting their voters card. Also, the ones who are not around Nepal should have come back to vote, to franchise their rights and the ones who had to go to their native town should have gone to choose the leaders for the government to be formed. It’s better not to vote than to vote for the wrong person. It is the best when you feel you can vouch for that person and you think you can imagine that party treating the country as their family and taking care of each and every member of the house because it is their responsibility and that’s when they can be called as leaders.

And if you cannot think about a person who fulfills your criteria as we have loads of us who have not even bothered to vote this year, since there is no change that we are going to see in coming years. Maximum of my friends have not voted this year, and as they are not using their rights to vote, they have no right to crib about the situation and how things have been rolling. You got to choose your leader or you got to be one to see the change that you want to.

To think practically about the change, what are the things that you would want to start with from the everyday necessity starting from: – electricity, water, public transportation, allowances, street lights on the streets, eradicating poverty, freedom of movement in town and internationally. The list goes on and on. I can only visualize when we have electricity throughout the day; the citizens don’t have to think twice while returning home at 10 in the night as there are street lights around and public transportation plying, the place is so safe that you do not have to fear the bombings, the ones on streets being given shelter and not dying of cold, making the whole country developed and not just a part of it in terms of infrastructure, economy, safety. Since we have done what we could, we can only be hopeful for a better tomorrow and brighter years.

Just say NO :*

So there are quite a few of us who speak our heart out each time, we are really true to ourselves and cannot be pretentious at all and the others who have the act of speaking and charming the crowd in no time. Be it a stranger, someone you have met so many times, you exactly know how to talk and get your work done or let’s just say leave an impact on the other one. That is actually a nice quality that one should possess and it works wonders at times.

On these terms the ones who have been diplomatic about things mostly stay the same. There are many of us who would vouch for being tactful in each situation because it demands it and you can’t force the correct view even if you know it is right. So that is how our human mind works and has been going on for years.

Giving it some more thought, there are quite a few of us who cannot say a NO, or deny to people or conditions. It is just so amazing how they can get stuff done even if they are not in position to. It is not a compulsion for them to do it, but they do it as they love helping people out and getting others out of trouble. There would be lots of us who can relate to these circumstances. A shout out going out to the ones who cannot disagree or rebuff – YOU CANNOT BE A SUPERHERO ALL THE TIME, BE PRACTICAL AND TAKE UP THOSE CHALLENGES WHICH YOU REALLY CAN AND WHICH REALLY MATTERS!! IT IS ALRIGHT TO DISAGREE, TO REJECT, AND TO COME UP WITH YOUR OWN OPINION.
